Check below for the first clip from Richard Kelly's feature length adaptation of The Box, starring Cameron Diaz and James Marsden. The movie opens on Friday, November 6th. Based on the Richard Matheson short story "Button, Button" the film's premise is as follows...

Norma and Arthur Lewis are faced with a terrible dilemma when a mysterious glass box turns up at their door. If they press the button inside the box, they'll get enough money to save their ailing son, but in exchange, someone, somewhere in the world will die. When the temptation to save their beloved son becomes too much to bear, Norma pushes the button. Immediately, a gunshot rings out somewhere nearby. Consumed with guilt, Norma must do everything in her power to solve a murder she has knowingly caused.

New Zealand's DIAGNOSIS: DEATH Coming to U.S. DVD

New Zealand's latest horror/comedy, featuring the cast members from the HBO series, "Flight Of The Concords", makes its North American DVD debut on December 29th from Lightning Media/Lionsgat Home Entertainment. Premise:

Enjoy A PERFECT GETAWAY on DVD/Blu-ray

The new horror film starring Milla Jovovich and Steve Zahn lands on DVD/Blu-ray on December 29th from Universal Home Entertainment. As far as special features go, they are bare.......really....really bare. Aside from both formats including the original theatrical version and a director cut version running 10 minutes longer, the DVD will be barebones and the Blu-ray will only include the original scripted ending as a special feature. Schumacher's BLOOD CREEK Coming to DVD

The new Joel Schumacher horror film makes it way to DVD shelves on January 19th, 2010 from Lionsgate Home Entertainment. As of right now, the only special feature to accompany the DVD is an audio commentary from the director. Stay tuned for official cover art and any further special features to be announced!

LESBIAN VAMPIRE KILLERS Hits DVD With New Title

This new UK horror/comedy film makes its official North American DVD debut on December 29th from The Weinstein Company and Vivendi Entertainment. However, the film wil now embrace a new title, now known as "Vampire Killers" and leaving out the "Lesbian" part. The official UK site for the The Descent: Part II has updated with yet another clip from the flick. You can view the clip below. The movie opens in the UK on December 4th, while there's still no release date set for the US. You can find more videos, pics, and info by clicking here.

DVD Delayed for THE HOUSE ON SORORITY ROW

Two Mya DVD Releases Delayed

These two Italian horror films, which were originally scheduled to debut on DVD shelves this coming Tuesday from Mya Communication, have been pushed back to a November 10th street date. No explanation was ever given for the delay, so I'm afraid fans of these films will have to wait another two weeks to add them to their ever-growing DVD collections.

The latest horror spoof for this Halloween season is Stan Helsing, from producer/director Bo Zenga. The flick hits DVD shelves on October 27th. Check below the synopsis for five clips from the movie.

Teaser for SEASON OF THE WITCH!

No, this is not a remake of the 1972 George A. Romero film, but it is a period flick that revolves around witchcraft and stars Nicolas Cage and Ron Perlman. The first footage from the pic has been revealed, courtesy of IGN. Check it out below! For more info on the movie, click here.
