Really, she actually agreed to go back? Huh. Good luck with that.
So I thought she told people what happened? Why would they go down there, and why would she follow them, if they are obviously unprepared for what lurks there? I loved the first one but this seems to be pushing it a bit. I mean I will go and see the movie but I'm not too excited for it...
i loved the first one hopefully this one is good too!!i didnt know there were 2 endings too the first film, the one i saw was the one where shes in the cave at the end with her daughter!!i hope they explore the creatures origins in the seconnd one!!
i thought the creatures origins where pretty obvious they are differently evolved humans.
the first descent was one of my favorite modern flicks.
what really bothers me about this sequel is that it will just make non sense for people who saw the real ending.
Agreed, I loved the first film and I liked the original ending more than the US ending, so depending on the ending you enjoyed will determine your desire to see this. Though I am interested to see if they'll give any explanations as to creature origins, ultimately if the movie blows which I think chances are high that it will I'll pull a Matrix and forget it ever happened.
thank god for blue pills
i highly doubt that this movie will make any money what so ever. the first one was alright, but like i would rather like to know what the things are and how they got down there in teh first place,. itd be nice if they did this movie like how they did vacancy, like they do how it all started as the 2nd movie, but we will see how this one goes.
Not really keen on the idea of a money making sequel.
The Descent showed what British film making is like at it's best, it's a shame that they could end up spoiling it with what looks like a bargain bin movie as a follow up T_T
Ok 1 question, is this really going to hit theaters? i would'nt be so shock if it went str8 to dvd, the trailer looks TTOO CRAPY and to cheap, compare to all of this new trailers like FD4, District 9, like come on this trailer looks like its a 2002 movie. Its going to suck bad!
I thought the the first one was very scary....if this one follows the story line in addition to providing the suspenseful terror I think it'll be a good scary movie to look forward to.
exactly. depends on where they go with it but if there's an original twist along with some of the original ingredients that made the first one kills it then im game. im not gonna hate just because a lot of sequels don't always own up to the original. there always exceptions
She's stupid for going back down there.
If ever there was a movie to not need a sequel it was this one. The first movie was brilliant, and the original ending was perfect for it. I'm appalled that they're taking the American ending and running with it to make a sequel. My faith in horror movies is quickly running out.
I agree with MrsRobinson, why the hell would she go back down? Regardless, the 1st film was creepy as hell! I loved it, so I eagerly await part 2.
Ok, so I've seen the first one and loved it. The Descent had all the great elements of the perfect horror film and the pacing of it was impeccable. It's gonna take a lot of work to make this one just as good as the first. I honestly see no reason why Sarah wants to go back into the caves, but if she does - hey, it's her death sentence.
It may be needless, but the first one was really good and if they can catch at least some of what the 1st had then it will at least be enjoyable to watch.
But as China said, why the hell would she be willing to go back down. All she needs to do is tell people what she saw and let the authorities get wiped out trying to take care of it.
Needless sequel to what was a surprisingly good film. Obviously they want to capitalize on the success.....$$$$$$$$$$$$$
The first film was great! I hope this one is just as good and not another stupid sequel.
wow this movie is going to be awsome i can not wait to see it
i hope it come out at the movies here in the us
The Descent is The Best movie I've EVER Seen!!! It was the first movie ever to scare the living fuck out of me!!! I Had a crush on each and every girl in the movie!!! each time one of them died i burst into tears!!
(
i saw the first one in theaters and it scared the shit out of me!!! i wouldn't watch this one in theaters but i will on dvd. the problem i have is, why the hell would she go back down? i'd say fuck that shit, blow it up!
hmmmm.... Ok, I'll bite. I wouldn't watch it in theater's, but when it came to DVD I'd rent it, if i liked it-I'd buy it.
Even if I don't, I probably still would buy it seeing as how I have the first one. Wouldn't be right to have the first without the second.
Its being screened in the UK next month at the Film Four Fright Fest so who knows when it'll get a release date? Im still hanging on for The Pig Hunt, which was at select cinemas a while back but it wasnt any where near where i live.
i saw this movies thearitcal release in the U.S. on some website im going back to check what website it was.
