Bradley Cooper has been added to the cast. He'll play a detective and love interest of Zellweger's character. Filming begins September 5 in Vancouver.

Ian McShane of the hit HBO series Deadwood will star in the film as a cop who assists Renée's character with the case.

The cast has been set and filming is scheduled to begin August 15th in Vancouver. Also, a director has finally been hired, but his name is still being kept underwraps for the time being.

- Originally set to have an August, then February 8th '07 theatrical release, then it was once again pushed to August 22nd '08, before settling on April 10th '09.
- Filming was originally set to begin July 31 in Vancouver, but was pushed to August 15th.
- The project was originally set up at Morgan Creek Prods., with Universal Pictures distributing.
- Kevin Misher is producing through his Paramount-based Misher Films alongside Anonymous Content's Steve Golin.
- Morgan Creek optioned the script in 2004 and sat on it for 18 months, then Paramount took over and moved the project forward.
- The full script title is Case No. 39.
- Ray Wright wrote the script.

Alright, Renee Zellweger doing horror again. Does anyone remember TCM: The next generation. The only way this could come off as a horror movie is if she does a nude scene cause that would probably scare me to the point of needing a labotomy.

Most directors always make a movies about a little girl or just a girl like this movie. What a bored movie. Most movies are like that and is not interesting to me at all. I prefer a new and different story and different conception that didnt found in any movies. This one is same old things, bored.

Actually, movies.com reported that the date was chaged from August 22 to April 9, 2009 after the writer's strike was settled last Wednesday. Same goes for Star Trek. The link to the article is http://movies.go.com/moviesproxy/tipster?id=940389

Does anyone know what is happening with this movie. It is set to hit theaters in Feb. 22 but I've yet to see any trailers or adversing for it.?

i love evil children . the rest can go play in a highway somewhere.and renee is a great actress she and mathew mchanahee where the only people who did a good job in texas chainsaw 4 including the crew. and in that movie its sayin sopthing.
