The film follows a young nurse named Karen, who boards the last subway train of the night only to have it stop suddenly in the middle of the tunnel. As those around her are brutally murdered, Karen and a handful of survivors must face supernatural forces, homicidal religious cult members, as well as their own fears and suspicions of Armageddon, in order to survive.

Although there's still no US distribution, the film is getting a Fall DVD release in it's home country of Canada via Anchor Bay's Canadian division Critical Mass Releasing.

You can expect to catch the following on the release: 16x9-enhanced widescreen transfer with 5.1 sound. Extras include an audio commentary by director Maurice Devereaux and composer Martin Gauthier, "A Splatter of Faith" making-of documentary, Fantasia festival Q&A, Bonus Interview: "The Most Asked Question," deleted scenes, "A Message of Hope," Gauthier’s complete score, accompanied by production stills.

When Maurice Devereaux spoke with Fango, he revealed that it's not that the film can't get proper US distribution, it's just a matter of how good of a deal he can get. He mentions how he has seen a lot of indie filmmakers get little back from all their hard work.
