I'm just glad there was no dead Japanese girls in this one.

i actually liked this (mostly because i didn't watch the original till after i had seen it) i'm a hard person to scare and while this didn't accomplish that, i did enjoy the things that jumped out and was happily surprised by the gore in it (though the mouth ripping was comically CGI'd). if being judged as a remake it s pretty bad considering they lose the original movie (which is more drama with supernatural elements.. kinda a psychological thing) but its good enough to stand on its own as a horrror movie.

I really like this flick as well, i think all the mixed reviews came from the pasting that it had, but it's been a while since we have seena gory (somewhat) ghost flick, I enjoyed it.

The original Korean Movie is pretty good. The concept of "One self and its reflection" is pretty imaginative. The US remake seems to be a little more gory and from the looks of it. The spirit did not stay inside the department store (like the original) but actually follow you home?? I guess there are some creative adjustment on this remake. Can't wait to see it.
