Joy Ride 2: Dead Ahead

This sequel follows a group of four friends as they hit the highway en route to Vegas for a concert. Along the way, their car breaks down and they decide to steal another to continue their journey, but unbeknownst to them, the car they've stolen belongs to the crazed "Rusty Nails" from the first film.

Why make a sequel? Because it's quick money through a familiar name. We'll all probably give this a check at SOME POINT, and they lknow that.

I can see why this movie is going straight to Dvd.The voice of Rusty nail is not the same. What I don't get is,why make a sequal if you are not gointg to have the original cast play the part and as for the Rusty nail part it is a totally a differant actor.

OK, look; I want to hear Ted Levine's voice. Even if it's not him, I'd like to hear his voice or one thats creepier. From the trailer, I highly doubt it will even come close to its predecessor. I'll watch it, don't doubt that but thats only because I'll give any horror movie a chance. If it happens to be good or even decent, I'll swallow my words topped off with sand. Otherwise, I'll hold my opinion that the film will indeed follow a cliche story, with cliche characters, all the way to a cliche ending... overall sucking. But hey, I've been surprised before.
