9.05.07
You can now view a US trailer for the film.

6.09.07

5.28.07
Added some promotional artwork above. Thanks to Cinema Zone.

4.18.07
I've added some new pics for the film that can be seen in the gallery. Also, I've added a link to view a brief clip from an old news report that featured scenes from the film. Thanks to Ode to Azia and Dark Dreams.

11.29.06

10.13.06
I've added some familiar names to the cast, and according to Fango, filming begins towards the end of the month in Rome and Turin.

8.06.06
This film marks Asia Argento's return to starring in a film by her father, while in other news, filming has supposedly been delayed to next November according to site Profondo Rosso.

5.18.06
The title is now officially The Mother of Tears, and Dario will begin filming in Rome shortly.

3.16.06
DC reports that the film has gone through another title change from The Mother of Tears to what you see above. Although, there's speculation that this is just another temporary title.

11.24.05
Fango spoke with writer co-writer Adam Gierasch, where he revealed the following: "It’s fast-paced, and more violent than you can shake a stick at! This is a horror movie, plain and simple. There are a lot, and I mean a lot, of murders! It really wraps up the trilogy, but is quite different from the first two. Dario didn’t want to do the same thing again.“I think it’s really going to be the movie that everyone is hoping for,” Gierasch concludes. “It’s a ‘wow’ kind of film, from the very first scene."

movie is better than a 6, it has flaws and corny parts, but overall it was solid.

Limited means mostly art house/indie theaters. Not just NY/LA, but some select movies only get NY/LA releases at first. Your best bet is to catch it on DVD if you live in a smaller town.

Will this get a normal theatrical release as well, or is it just limited? And what defines "limited"? Is it just New York and Los Angeles, or are there other cities?

Argento is back with 70's splatter fest! This time he's more brutal with the victims..even a little baby didn't get mercy! But the final climax was quite disappointing.

Brian, Inferno is basically (from what I recall) about the same as Suspiria but rather than a dance school it's an apartment building where a woman uncovers the second mother and destroys her much as the first lead did in Suspiria. I liked it personally and have been trying to search it out on dvd but the local stores around me don't have any in stock so I'm off to find it out of town tomorrow as a matter of fact. Good flick if you can find it.

Well Wally, what I meant is trhat it looks more "demonic" and "extreme" than "Suspiria" and "Inferno". It looks more monstrous and violent than them, too. All I guess I'm saying is that this is a little different-looking than those in style, formula, and visualization! Soooo, GEEZ LOUISE!

Susperia was unbearably slow but it's fantastic moments in horror were well worth the wait. Never saw the second. Anyone know what it's about? I definitely dug susperia enough to have an interest in the third one as well.

"Werewolf Hunter", you haven't seen Argento do this kinda stuff before? How about Suspiria, and Inferno, the first 2 in this trilogy? lol. Those are two of his most well known films...jeez louise :)

This movie's gonna be awesome. Dario Argento rules!

I like movies with poop. Argento uses poop to contrast the violence and sadism in his films. Brilliant but probably a stinky mess to work with.
