Director and professional bully Uwe Boll spoke to Fango recently, revealing that Seed may get slapped with an NC-17 rating after scenes like a prolonged bludgining with a woman and a hammer, among others. Boll was quoted saying this about the scene in question: "this is the scene where even the hardcore horror fans will walk out of the cinema because it is really disgusting." He then went on to say how Seed will top films like Hostel and Hills Have Eyes '06 in the brutality department and bosts how the film is "one of the hardest and most depressing horror movies ever made".

- Written and directed by Uwe Boll (Alone in the Dark, BloodRayne).
