Some early artwork for SCREAM 4
With the American Film Market underway it's no surprise that studios are trying to promote their upcoming projects, even those that have barely begin production, like Scream 4, which now has some lackluster artwork (seen on your right).
Production on the pic is aimed to begin sometime in April or May of 2010. You can expect to see Courteney Cox Arquette, David Arquette, and Neve Campbell all returning, with franchise director Wes Craven stepping behind the camera once again. Original writer Kevin Williamson also returns, with a new script that's the first installment in a new trilogy of sequels.
The plot is still being kept under wraps, but early reports indicate that it will take place 10 years after the events of the previous film, with the cast back in their hometown of Woodsboro. Deputy Dewey is now sheriff and the father a kid with wife Gale Weathers. Recent reports revealed that this fourth film will also introduce a new set of characters, who will we follow through to the next three installments.

Aehh, Someone once told me that usually if the cover art is really good the movie itself is usually horrid.
Not that, that really matters. I could careless about the cover, honestly. Yes, it does blow, but really.. who cares? I just hope they come up with something better than Scream 3.
I'd rather see them be lazy with the cover art than with the movie, but hey.. that's just my opinion.
IDK, SCREAM STARTED A WHOLE NEW STYLE OF HORROR MOVIES.WES CRAVEN AND KEVIN WILLIAMSON ARE GENIUSES AND THE SCRIPTS FOR THE SCREAM MOVIES ARE ALWAYS WITTY AND FUNNY!! THE CHARACTERS THEY CREATE ARE ALSO INTERESTING AND NOT ONE DIMENSIONAL LIKE MOST MOVIES OF THE SAME GENRE.....THAT ARTWORK SUCKS THOUGH!!
Yea thats pretty awful.. O yea and the picture is bad too.
I know a lot of the sales pitch poster you find at AFM are far from phenomenal works of art, but damn is this one lazy piece of photoshop shit. Guess the Weinstein's really are in the financial gutter.
