This Week's Notable Horror: 03/16 - 03/22

The new releases have slowed down a bit compared to the past few weeks, but there are still some notable titles in the mix. Chief among them is the horror comedy READY OR NOT: HERE I COME, which debuts in theaters on Friday. Also arriving is the action-vampire flick VAMPIRES OF THE VELVET LOUNGE, starring Mena Suvari, Dichen Lachman, and Stephen Dorff. It also opens Friday, though only to limited theaters. Where to begin. I could begin from the beginning since there’s no substantial ending, but the beginning of Skate to Hell is just as disjointed as the journey to hell in this hellish movie.

There are over a dozen new releases to catch this week. Notable entries include the Giallo-inspired DEATH CYCLE and Luc Besson's DRACULA remake, both of which land on VOD tomorrow.

March is already starting off strong with a number of interesting options for fans. Specifically, if you missed it in theaters, the supernatural pic WHISTLE lands on VOD tomorrow. Meanwhile, Friday offers a majority of this week's new titles, including THE BRIDE! starring Christian Bale and Jessie Buckley, which opens to theaters.
