I think the reason that I didn't like it much because there are hardly any scare moments or eerieness to it. It was to much action. But i'm old school, so it was jus to different that I didn't enjoy it much.

New Characters but not Barry...some of the Outbreak characters were cool though Kevin and that security guard Mark. And then there's Bruce from Dead Aim, usually RE games without the main characters get shitted on, But I did like them all including Survivor

I kno, I miss Barry Burton as well. Did you like Jim Chapman the Subway Worker lol? Bruce McGivern was alryte along with Fong Ling. I didn't play Survivor, so no opinion about Ark Thompson. But tyme will tell for RE6.

Let's see if the new characters in REC end up being cool or not.

Knowing Capcom.

They'll give the old school fans what they want (old school RE) but take away precious Jill, Chris and other characters in favor of just a complete revamp.

Can't say I would be opposed to that either. It would kill most of the asinine arguments that have come about since RE4.

The only thing I'd be opposed to is adding Alice from the movies in any way to the games. As it is the games have sort of taken on slices of elements from the movies especially the last three or so including UC. Seeing Alice in the games would be enough to make me jump ship.

Having said that, whether its old school RE or something as complete to me as RE2 and RE4 were. Then I'm on board.
