Follows the harrowing journey of three frontiersmen who set out to seek aid at a desolate Army fort after their handcart company becomes stranded and stricken by disease. Harassed by bandits and a mysterious native figure, with one companion gravely injured, they are stalked by a dark, primal force. As the fort reveals itself to be a cursed and maddening prison, fear and hunger twist the men into something unrecognizable—something monstrous.

Scott B. Hansen (Devour, Bad Candy, The Possession Experiment) directs with Ryan Shelor (in his directorial debut). Shelor was quoted saying: "Bloodletting is the gritty visceral story we’ve been waiting to tell. It’s a nightmare wrapped in history, driven by characters on the edge of humanity. And with someone like Graham McTavish leading the charge, this becomes something truly special."
Said to deliver "psychological, creature, and body horror against a brutal frontier backdrop."
Based on the novel with the same name by author J.R. Curtis.
