According to Deadline, the studio has hired Belgian filmmaker Michiel Blanchart (Night Call, You're Dead Helene) to direct. (10/3/25)
Final Destination: Bloodlines co-writer Lori Evans Taylor (Bed Rest, Cellar Door) returns to script this new installment.
Franchise producer Craig Perry and franchise veteran Sheila Hanahan Taylor are back producing, as are Jon Watts and his wife, Dianne McGunigle, along with Toby Emmerich.
The previous installment, Final Destination: Bloodlines, made $50-million in the first weekend box office (a franchise-best opening) and would go on to surpass $285-million globally.
This is the seventh installment in the popular Final Destination franchise.
