Bleecker Street distributes in the US. Bleecker’s Andrew Karpen and Kent Sanderson said the following: "Crispin Glover’s Tommy Taffy will be the next great horror villain. With Gary’s incredible track record as a producer and David’s strong vision, anchored by Rob Lowe and Roselyn Sanchez’s compelling performances, we believe this will be a singular and terrifying theatrical experience."
The feature film directorial debut of producer David Michaels (Surveillance).
One of the film's producers was quoted saying: "I am thrilled to develop Elias Witherow’s popular horror IP into an intense, scary movie experience. Tommy Taffy has the potential be the next iconic horror villain and David Michaels has an incredible vision to bring this property to life."
Based on the original creepypasta with the same name from writer Elias Witherow. For those unfamiliar with the term "creepypasta" it's essentially an original short horror story that's posted and shared on the internet.
