Yup, everything's just fine and dandy until one day when his workplace crush stands him up for dinner. That's where a little misunderstanding leads to her death and Jerry decides to store her severed head in his fridge for safe keeping (naturally). Unfortunately her poor old head is lonely in there, so now Jerry is forced to find her a friend (don't you hate when that happens?).

To make matters even more strange, Jerry's pets act as sort of an amusing good and bad conscience throughout the flick, offering a sort of dark and quirky weirdness to the tone of the movie. The pic is also fairly violent and bloody at times reminding us that it's still a horror flick, despite its comedic light-heartedness it often delivers. Though, no matter how dark the film eventually got, it's bizarre upbeat climax is probably what you'll be remembering most after the credits roll, whether you like it or not.
The Voices is an interesting dark comedy that offers an alternative and semi-unique look into the mind of a troubled young man. Definitely worth a look for something a little different than your normal serial killer tale.
