Producer Jason Reitman was quoted saying: "Finn and Billy crushed their directorial debut and have a completely original take on ‘Idle Hands’ that captures a disaffected generation. We are excited to support them as they bring their unique take to the screen and summon the demons." (11/12/24)

Written by Finn Wolfhard and Billy Bryk (duo behind Hell of a Summer) and are being eyed to also direct.
This is a "re-imagining" of the 1999 horror comedy with the same name that starred Devon Sawa and Jessica Alba.
