This Week's Notable Horror: 09/14 - 09/20

Nearly a dozen new releases are headed our way this week, with RESIDENT EVIL being the biggest of the bunch when it hits theaters this Friday. Until then, the dinosaur-run-amok film THE END OF OAK STREET, existential horror movie IT ENDS, and the latest slasher THE LAST KISS all land on VOD tomorrow. We've got more than a handful of notable releases this week, starting with the horror comedy PORTAL TO HELL, which lands on VOD tomorrow. On Wednesday, the South Korean sci-fi thriller HOPE debuts in theaters. And if you're not afraid of spiders, DON'T MOVE opens in limited theaters on Friday. Indie horror dominates this jam-packed week of new releases, with over a dozen titles on the way. Tomorrow sees the indie slasher DEATHWOODS debut on VOD and Screambox, while the creature feature THE ROOM BELOW also makes its way to VOD. We also have the rare Wednesday theatrical release of the survival thriller FALL 2: DEADPOINT.
