Filming will reportedly begin sometime this summer. (1/22/26)
Producer Scott Chambers has a recent interview where he revealed when fans can expect filming to begin and when they're aiming to release the movie, saying: "I very much plan on shooting this summer, and it just depends. If we're able to turn it around and release it for the Halloween period of 2025, I will definitely do that. I don't want to rush it because I'm aware that the fans of this stuff that we are doing, their expectations are quite high. So I don't want to just smash it out and that everyone's disappointed. I am going to take time with it, but I never work slow anyway. I'm not used to doing that. So you'll get it quick.I feel like at the moment where we stand, the time period for this coming out would be like Halloween 2025. But if we miss that, it'll probably be the first quarter of 2026, so it won't be far off it." (1/15/25)

Producer/director Rhys Frake-Waterfield was quoted saying: "It will be complete carnage. We are heavily influenced by Freddy vs. Jason and The Avengers. We would love to see a horror movie where the villains group together and are going after their survivors. We have some incredible set pieces in mind and some sequences I think will truly shock people. The movies we are working on now as stand alones are all building towards Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble."
One of the film's producers was quoted saying: "As horror fans, we would love an Avengers that is all villains. It’d have Freddy Krueger, Jason, ‘Halloween,’ ‘Scream,’ all of those. Obviously that will never happen, but we can make it happen in our own little way, and that’s where this film has been born. Similar to The Avengers we will follow Pooh, Tigger, Rabbit, Owl, Piglet, Pinocchio, Sleeping Beauty, Bambi, The Mad Hatter, Peter Pan and Tinkerbell joining forces to wreak havoc. We are working with a larger scale budget on this one and are excited for what the future will hold. When you see the stand alone movies you will see the easter eggs hinting toward the crossover. Some of the villains also will not see eye to eye which will allow for some carnage within the group in some epic sequence of monster vs monster."
Aside from Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey and its sequel, many of the villains from this film will first be introduced in their own standalone movies, including: Bambi: The Reckoning, Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare and Pinocchio Unstrung. The films will reportedly include various easter eggs linking them toward the upcoming crossover.
