Bloodshock (2015)

REVIEWER RATING:
8/10

Small cast.
Small budget.
Powerful film.

The last of the American Guinea Pig films in my “to watch” bucket was unintentionally saved as the best for last.

Serena Waits (2018)

REVIEWER RATING:
9/10

It’s been a long awaited film release, but Serena Waits was worth the wait! Another brilliant film from the uber-talented Hunter Johnson, Serena Waits explores the emotionally tumultuous act of vengeance provoked after a horrific drunken night of drinking, drugs and date rape.

The Pale Door (2020)

REVIEWER RATING:
6/10

Director Aaron B. Koontz (Camera Obscura) teams up with Keith Lansdale (son of novelist Joe R. Lansdale) to bring us this horror-western mashup that I've been anxiously anticipating since I first learned about it some years back.

Atroz (2015)

REVIEWER RATING:
9/10

No better film title has ever existed than Atroz (Atrocious).

Shark Season (2020)

REVIEWER RATING:
7/10

Who doesn’t love a suspenseful shark film? And when it features Michael Madsen, I am all in!

Attack of the Unknown (2020)

REVIEWER RATING:
9/10

Independence Day has just collided with Alien and it is one wild explosion! Attack of the Unknown is the perfect reminder as to why I love Richard Grieco so much – his tenacity to stay bad ass!

Fell (2010)

REVIEWER RATING:
7/10

Poor Bill. He lives in a dirty apartment, broke up with his love Jenny, quit his band, is running dangerously low on his medication and has a dead body in the bathtub. Not a good time to be Bill.

Red Krokodil (2012)

REVIEWER RATING:
7/10

There are so many substance abuse films out there, many of which have left permanent marks on would-be followers who have found salvation after watching: Requiem for a Dream, Trainspotting, Black Metal Veins, Leaving Las Vegas, The Rose, Drugstore Cowboy and countless more.

Daytime Nightmare (2020)
