Sister writing duo Nora and Lilla Zuckerman are scripting the movie. They're known as the showrunners behind the Poker Face series and writers behind the new Buffy the Vampire Slayer pilot that Hulu passed on.
The previous installment saw the return of Neve Campbell with original writer Kevin Williamson directing. The movie would go on to gross over $200-million at the global box office, making it the first Scream movie to cross that milestone since the franchise began.
