This Week's Notable Horror: 04/20 - 04/26

We've got an eclectic group of new titles to check out this week—nearly a dozen in total. Kicking things off, today brings an unusual Monday VOD release with the sci-fi horror comedy WEEKEND AT THE END OF THE WORLD. Most of the week's releases arrive on Friday, including the limited theatrical debut of the slasher FRANKIE, MANIAC WOMAN.

Jason Segel is back onscreen, and this time…he’s getting badly beaten in a hilarious comedy horror starring Samara Weaving, Timothy Olyphant and Juliette Lewis. Who would’ve thought that this comedic actor could hold his own in such an intensely barbaric film?

This Week's Notable Horror: 04/13 - 04/19

This week brings nearly a dozen new titles worth checking out. Specifically, today sees several theatrical releases debuting on VOD, including the teen body-horror flick SLANTED and the supernatural pic UNDERTONE. First look at ED GEIN: THE HOUSE OF HORRORS

Last week was one of the slowest we’ve had in a while for new releases, but things pick back up this week with over a dozen titles. If you missed'em in theaters, tomorrow brings THE BRIDE! and PSYCHO KILLER to VOD. Meanwhile, Friday offers plenty of options, including the limited theatrical release of the Japanese film EXIT 8 and a wide release for the new FACES OF DEATH.
